Safety Speakers Must Respect People’s Time

Safety speakers should always start their meeting or safety presentation on time. When you do so you show respect for your audience. In this video John Drebinger shares a method which you can use to start on time and also make sure no one misses any important content if they arrive late. When a safety speaker starts on time they build their reputation and ensure people will arrive early so they don’t miss anything. Safety speakers who habitually start late teach audience members they can arrive late. This compounds the problem and meetings are delayed waiting for everyone to show up.

The same can be said for finishing on time.
